Construcciones Sociales frente al abuso sexual infantil : percepciones de padres y madres del Centro Municipal de apoyo para personas con discapacidad auditiva y problemas del habla - audición y lenguaje de la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The present work of investigation is a study on the Social Constructions against child sexual abuse. Perceptions of parents of the Municipal Center of support for people with hearing disabilities and speech problems - Hearing and Language of the city of Guayaquil”. It was established as objectives of this research to identify the conceptions that parents have about sexual abuse, to reveal cultural patterns that can be considered as risk factors for children, and also to analyze the influence of parents' knowledge and mothers about the sexual abuse of children in the upbringing of their sons and daughters and in turn the influence of the construction of disability in the constructions of sexual abuse; this is why this research had a qualitative approach, applied type and descriptive level; the method of study was the phenomenological, the information was collected through the techniques: indepth interview and focus group, and its sample was 12 parents and mothers of the school. The relevant result of this research was that most of the participating parents do not easily understand sexuality or the elements that make it up, as well as cultural patterns as risk factors.
