Generación de viajes vehiculares por restaurantes de comida rápida y autobancos, atendidos en ventanilla.

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation is to determine the demand for travel of vehicles that are generated in fast food restaurants with attention for window and automatic banks in the city of Guayaquil. It was used as a reference the Handbook for Generating trips made by the Institute of Transportation Engineers originated in the United States. For the development of this research information was collected from all fast food restaurants with attention for window and all automatic banks. Counts were carried out in restaurants manuals for several days and in the automatic banks, to quantify the number of vehicles that make use of this service, once the information is tabulated found the peak time for each local. In this way, the development and analysis of graphs to which was used as independent variable the area of each local and as the dependent variable the number of vehicular travel, once the process of analysis is obtained the regression equations, travel generation rates and subsequently compared the graphs obtained with the graphics of the Trip Generation Manual, noting that there are significant differences in the results.
