Abstract

This document contains the development of the project of a Language Center for the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, located in the city of Samborondón. Prior to the project, a critical analysis was carried out, determining contextual, natural and constructed conditions for the development of the project. The project proposes to provide solutions to the need for knowledge and development of new forms of communication. The proposal proposes a variety of interrelated spaces, allowing to always have connections with the exterior and the interior of the building. The building has classrooms, multi - use rooms, laboratories, library, student cafeteria and recreation areas inside and outside the blocks. Additionally, the project proposes the maximum use of the natural characteristics of the land, creating squares that allow the recreation of the students, having a hall / Plaza where it is possible to potentiate visuals and rest areas, this is replicated in the upper floors where they are given emphasis on leisure areas for students.
