Propuesta de mejora de procesos logísticos del área de abastecimiento de La Chilenita.

Abstract

The present research work has the purpose of improving the processes of supply of raw material and inputs of La Chilenita, in order to reduce the operating times, inventory levels and develop processes to ensure an efficient production that increases the quality of the company's products. The methodology applied is qualitative descriptive, applying structured interviews directed to the production, dispatch and supply bosses and direct observations to the current processes of the supply area. The results found in the investigative process determined that there are various anomalies and problems inside the supply and warehouse area. The lean operation methodology is applied in the proposal, with the purpose of apply slender operation and manufactures, in order to reduce the rates of waste of raw material, storage costs, thus increasing the profitability margins. Therefore, an improvement plan based on manual processes is proposed, describing the functions and responsibilities of the employees in the supply area and detailing inventory control guidelines.
