Abstract

The construction of sanitary sewerage systems have become vital for urban and rural populations, since by means of proper treatment and management of wastewater, a healthy and fit environment can be created to live with sanitation, and consequently reduce the risk of infectious-contagious diseases in the inhabitants. THE PROJECT OF DESIGN AND TECHNICAL MODELING OF THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM FOR THE ELOY ALFARO LOCATION BELONGING TO THE GUAYAQUIL CANTON, LOCATED IN KM. 20.5 ON THE ROAD TO DAULE, PROVINCE OF GUAYAS, lies in the dimensioning of networks and modeling with the AKUA program. Due to the geographical location of the lotization, it consists of discharging the wastewater by gravity to an inspection collector, which must be built in the future by INTERAGUA. Currently, the lottery has the Educational Unit "Modesto Wolf Pasaguay School and College" which uses septic tanks for the elimination of solid waste and wastewater, where the institution has not properly maintained them, taking into consideration The institutional flow to carry out the design and technical modeling of the design flow, through the surveys carried out, indicated that the entire lotization only has septic tanks, which has generated problems of environmental contamination, as well as the water resources of the sector, therefore the Implementation of this sanitary sewer project has become a priority need to improve the quality of life for residents of the Lotization.
