Análisis del estado actual del equipamiento médico disponible en el área de urgencia del HTMC de la ciudad de Guayaquil y diseño de un plan de adecuación tecnológica que permita mejorar los tiempos de respuesta clínica.

Abstract

The execution of this project is of great relevance for the Hospital in compliance with the Organic Health Law and other related laws, with the objective of Evaluating the current state of the technology available in the Emergency Department of the Regional Hospital II of the IESS “Dr. Teodoro Maldonado Carbo” of the city of Guayaquil and its effect on clinical response times through a field investigation in order to propose a technological adaptation plan for the studied areas that allows improving patient care. To obtain the data, it was used a quantitative approach study, with a descriptive-explanatory scope, of a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The direct beneficiaries of this project are the patients whose condition is urgent and / or emergency and who have the possibility of surviving with the help of the monitoring systems. This project considers IESS affiliates in general and the users served by the Integral Public Health Network (RPIS, acronym in spanish); It has great social sustainability and is aligned with the National Development Plan National Plan for Good Living, so it promotes gender equity and equality, ethno-cultural and intergenerational equity.
