Análisis de la gestión administrativa del hospital general IESS de Babahoyo, año 2020.

Abstract

Within the health field, administrative management is established as a tool that promotes the development of actions aimed at fulfilling the functions of the administrative process, this in order to provide patients with a service of quality and excellence. Consequently, this research was developed with the objective of analyzing the current situation of the administrative management of the IESS General Hospital in Babahoyo, in order to establish a proposal that improves the current situation. The study maintained a quantitative approach, descriptive, the type of research was non-experimental, cross-sectional under the deductive method. The use of a survey made up of 20 questions constituted by the elements of the administrative process was used, it was applied to a total sample of 196 collaborators. According to the results, it was identified that the organization does not immediately manage corrective actions when failures or internal problems are detected, the workers are unaware of the mission and vision of the institution including their responsibilities, which is due to a lack of internal communication. In order to improve the administrative management of the hospital, a proposal made up of three strategic actions was carried out, which covers a budget of $ 847.75 and may be executed at the beginning of the year 2022.
