Responsabilidad del Estado frente al término femicidio y feminicidio en el Ecuador.

Abstract

This investigative work analyzes the classification of feminicide as a response to the violent homicide of women committed by men in Latin America, emphasizing the scope of both figures and how the individualized social problems of each country are reflected in the classification of one or another term. The international responsibility of the state is also discussed, in which reference is made both to the general framework for the protection of human rights and to the specific framework for the protection of women. Finally, it addresses the comprehensive reparation measures available to the courts to draw up their sentences in order to partially compensate the conditions caused to the victims of gender violence.
