Abstract

This Degree Project provides information on Maritime Insurance, which is necessary within the trade, due to the need to protect the three fundamental elements within a vessel, which are The Ship, The Cargo and The Crew, without leaving aside, any damage that may be caused by losses and deterioration that they or those that come to cause damage to nature, what we try to demonstrate is that with the Subscription to the Protection and Compensation Clubs, we could achieve that these three elements are protected not only by the law, but also by the P&I Clubs as they are known internationally, since in our Country Ecuador this is not yet regulated, due to the protection provided by these Clubs is that this figure that must be included within of the Maritime Insurance already existing in our legal system.
