Riesgos psicosociales presentes en un grupo de adultos mayores de los cantones Daule y Milagro, durante el confinamiento del covid-19.

Abstract

The work carried out within the line of research focused on the analysis of the Psychosocial risks present in a group of Older Adults from the cantons of Daule and Milagro, during the confinement of covid-19; Likewise, the quality of life of the elderly was affected by confinement due to the pandemic; therefore, the study responded to a mixed approach with a quantitative and qualitative level. Within its methodology, interviews and surveys were applied to the elderly while an interview was established for family members. Finally, with the collection of information from the survey and information from the interviews, in this way the psychosocial perceptions and the factors that are considered as risk in both the elderly and their families have been obtained as a result. In the social sphere, the integrity of the self was affected in the elderly and in the family, work and retirement were added, while in the psychological aspect, the hopelessness that increased during the period of confinement by the covid- 19 was evidenced.
