Diseño de producto agroturístico para la Finca Ronquillo Rivera de la provincia de los Ríos.

Abstract

The present work is carried out a market investigation of a cocoa farm to design an agrotourism product that is a contribution to the local economy, generates local employment and contact with nature for tourists who visit the place. There are several farms, haciendas that have ample spaces to carry out tourist activity, however, this is not being used since the population of the province of Los Ríos is dedicated mostly to agriculture as a source of income and they do not see the tourism as another viable option. For this reason, the work investigated the needs of people when visiting a farm or leaving the routine and Finca Ronquillo Rivera has the potential to develop as a tourist space, learning about the processes of cocoa, mango and animal care. . In the first chapter, theories regarding rural tourism and agrotourism are developed, followed by market research, to finally present the proposal for the design of a tourism product.
