Sistema para el monitoreo y trazabilidad del proceso de vacunación contra la Covid-19 de los estudiantes de la UCSG.

Abstract

The global health emergency of Covid-19 forced governments to take urgent measures to try to reduce the incidence of contagion. This led to the closure of companies and educational establishments, leaving both workers and students to carry out their work from virtual platforms from their homes. With the vaccination policies implemented and the adaptation of individuals to the new conditions for carrying out activities, the government foresees a progressive return to face-to-face classes, which is why, for the UCSG, it is convenient to have a tool for monitoring and traceability of the student vaccination process. For this, it is intended to develop and implement a web and mobile computer system for the registration of vaccinated students through QR code. Descriptive research, the qualitative methodological approach and the interview with UCSG officials were used as a data collection technique. The results of the interview determined that the tool can become a very useful instrument to determine the number of vaccinated students to consider the progressive return to classes in the different faculties. It is recommended to extend the scope of monitoring to the entire university population for better control of the vaccination process.
