Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de un Centro Odontológico Inclusivo en el cantón Piñas.

Abstract

In the country, people with disabilities have limited access to health services, especially dental care. The state has shown interest in facilitating care, emphasizing inclusion; however, the supply still presents a deficit, which is why the motivation to seek public-private alternatives to improve and ensure that all people have timely care. The objective of this research is to study the possibility of creating an inclusive dental center in the Piñas Canton. For this purpose, the quantitative and descriptive method was applied through the application of 336 surveys to individuals living in the city of Piñas and four professionals in the area of dentistry were also surveyed. According to the results it was obtained that the creation of the Inclusive Dental Center with the results obtained it is observed that the NPV value is $30,368.57 and it is positive, the IRR is 25% and the Payback is 3.8 years, it is in accordance with the expected and therefore the financial viability is determined. In conclusion, the creation of the Center is a contribution in general for people with disabilities to have greater access to dental care.
