Abstract

In the year 2020, the world was not prepared to face one of the deepest crises of recent decades; generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, it is worth mentioning that for Ecuador, a country not characterized by its economic, social or political stability; the uncertainty generated by the pandemic unleashed a terrible health crisis and later an economic one. This caused shrimp exports to the main destination countries to become difficult; This is where a crisis occurs for the shrimp sector since the main country of destination is China, and it represented a total of 66% of exports until 2019; bent its food and biosafety protocols for the resection of all kinds of imports. For all these backgrounds, the present work aims to determine the impact of COVID 19 on exports and the financial management of companies in the shrimp sector, through introducing and reviewing the background, on the impact of income and other financial indicators. of the shrimp export sector due to the pandemic derived from Covid 19, develop a literature review on the impact on the income of the shrimp export sector due to the pandemic derived from Covid 19 and evaluate the impact on exports through a study comparative of the shrimp sector of the situation before and after the pandemic derived from Covid 19.
