Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de una clínica privada (Hospital Básico) en el norte de la ciudad de Quito.

Abstract

The objective of this research project is to evaluate the feasibility of creating a private clinic as a basic hospital, in the north of the city of Quito, belonging to the Province of Pichincha, of the Republic of Ecuador, considering that in recent years demographic growth has been evidenced, the appearance of new viruses such as the one that currently plagues the entire world, the large number of patients with acute and chronic pathologies that cannot be treated in public or private health institutions and that require medical attention timely, it is considered important to expand the health infrastructure, especially in those areas that demand more attention, which is why the idea of implementing this clinic arises because it would focus on providing services to users who are not associated with COVID-19, since currently in the country there are institutions dedicated specifically to the care of these patients. It would also be an opportunity to generate sources of employment for recently graduated professionals. A market study was carried out in which the growing demand that is in favor of the creation, implementation and opening of private clinics can be evidenced, analyzing consumers and competition. The type of research is descriptive, since it aims to thoroughly analyze and measure the situation in order to obtain real conditions in which the problem is framed, using a qualitative approach since statistics will be applied for the analysis of the variable.
