Análisis del incremento del salario mínimo y su relación con la productividad laboral, inflación, desempleo para América del Sur en el periodo 2010 - 2020.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze and know the real situation of the growth of the nominal minimum wage in the 9 countries of South America, seen from the graphic point of view where it will also be possible to observe the growth of the Consumer Price Index, Index of coverage of the minimum wage, unemployed and employed population, labor productivity, observing if its trends mean something, all this translated into US dollars in order to have a clearer interpretation of the data, through an econometric regression model using R studio using as analysis methodology the unified basic wage measurement formula proposed by the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Ecuador, this methodology integrates labor productivity to wage growth, one of the most important variables according to the ILO that has not been taken into account in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. All the information to build the database was obtained from the central bank of each country, as well as from the national statistical institutes, the data from ECLAC, the World Bank, the International Labor Organization also allowed this analysis to be carried out. with the national data of each country as Unemployed population and Economically active population. The theoretical framework reinforces the variables that are being used as a study model, followed by their respective citations and bibliographic sources.
