Flujo Digital en la rehabilitación oral estética : revisión sistemática.

Abstract

Introduction: The new technologies incorporated into dentistry that lead to digital flow help in aesthetic oral rehabilitation. Objective: To determine the benefits of digital flow when an aesthetic oral rehabilitation is performed; five variables have been handled in the development of the analysis: communication between the work team and other specialists; treatment planning; Presentation of the case and motivation to the patient; Strengthen aesthetic diagnostic skills and Digital flow versus analog flow. Materials and methods: a qualitative, non-experimental, descriptive, and analytical systematic review was carried out, evidence; the deductive method and bibliographic search that supports the importance of digital flow in aesthetic oral rehabilitation; the research design is cross-sectional, the sample is bibliographic and retrospective; studies cases registered in articles up to 5 years ago in metasearch engines. Results/discussion: confirm that the digital flow optimizes the communication between the dentist and the dental technician, the digital impressions contribute to improve the dialogue of the work team and reduce errors, while the computer-aided design (CAD) facilitates planning the treatment in all fields of dentistry, highlights that the digital flow takes effect when there is good communication and training of the work team. Conclusion: The digital flow is very helpful in aesthetic rehabilitation, but it requires the training of the entire work team and its specialists.
