Abstract

A scientific article entitled "PERSONAL PRESSURE AND THE VIOLATION OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT OF FREEDOM AND WORK" was carried out, in which it was analyzed that personal pressure has affected the majority of people who owe alimony and consider that the lack of work does not allow them to fulfill their obligation to support the child. The type of research used was exploratory combined with descriptive research. A qualitative approach was used, where it was used as research techniques, bibliographic review, analysis of the legal foundation in the Ecuadorian legal system about the deprivation of liberty as a constraint, in situations where the obligee fails to pay. for alimony. It was determined that the right to freedom and work, apart from being guaranteed in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, are also reflected in international treaties or conventions.
