Abstract

The present project shows the development of an architectural proposal of Forest School for the sustainable project Olón Yaku, located to the east of the Common of Olón in the Route of the Spondylus, of the Parish Manglaralto of the Province of Santa Elena. The project is implemented on a plot of 15000m2, just over 2km from the sea shore. Its location is strategic for tourism, for its easy accessibility, proximity to the sea, the river and the forest. The Forest School has three classrooms, a communal dining room, a communal kitchen, an experimental kitchen, with two workshops, an infirmary, a psychological office, a library, administration, two shelters, a kiosk, a small square, parking lots, addresses, rooms and laboratories for researchers, and accommodation for students before, teachers and researchers The project is key to make up for the educational deficit in the sector, also to promote tourism, eco-system research, achieve cultural integration with the community and inculcate care for the environment and the implementation of sustainable constructive systems.
