| dc.description | El objetivo del presente trabajo consiste en realizar el análisis de la incidencia de la atención farmacéutica en la adherencia y control de paciente insulino dependiente del Hospital de Especialidades Portoviejo (HEP), de esta manera, se pretende satisfacer una necesidad del sistema sanitario que ha surgido a causa de la presencia de múltiples prescriptores de medicaciones para un mismo paciente. La metodología empleada fue de tipo AnalíticaCuantitativa- No Experimental, con una muestra de 192 pacientes diabéticos insulinodependientes a los que se aplicó una encuesta. En los resultados obtenidos por medio de los valores de HbA1 de los pacientes, realizados en los controles médicos posterior a empezar el tratamiento y sin atención farmacológica integral se comprobó que tan solo una minoría de ellos estaba dentro de los valores referenciados, mientras que en aquellos que si recibieron información se obtuvo resultados < 6,5%. Concluyendo que esto refleja la incidencia positiva que tiene una adecuada atención en la adherencia al tratamiento del paciente insulinodependiente. Es así que, socializar y poner en marcha el programa de atención farmacéutica mejoraría no solo la adherencia al tratamiento si no también la calidad de vida de los pacientes. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this work is to carry out the analysis of the incidence of pharmaceutical care in the adherence and control of an insulin-dependent patient at the Portoviejo Specialty Hospital (HEP), in this way, it is intended to satisfy a need of the health system that has arisen due to the presence of multiple prescribers of medications for the same patient. The methodology used was Analytical-Quantitative-Non-Experimental, with a sample of 192 insulin-dependent diabetic patients. The results obtained by means of the HbA1 values of the patients, carried out in the medical controls after starting the treatment and without comprehensive pharmacological care, it was found that only a minority of them were within the referenced values. Concluding that this reflects the importance of adequate care in adherence to treatment in insulin-dependent patients. Thus, socializing and implementing the pharmaceutical care program would improve not only adherence to treatment but also the quality of life of patients. | en_US |
