Abstract

The Sauces 6 Community Center project is located in the northwest of the city of Guayaquil, within the urban area. The land is accessed through the streets Pasaje 3A-NE and 10 paseo 18-NE, in the citadel Sauces 6. The building has an architectural program, where its primary use is for the development of the community, providing the area with non-existent activities, such as: health center, service procedures, and multipurpose classrooms, in addition to preserving the existing park, improving its functionality and safety. The project proposes areas that in case of emergency and situations that require a larger space, can be extended inside and outside the building, without losing the sense of belonging. This will be achieved through the materiality and flexible structure that adapts to the needs of the situation and users.
