Abstract

The project "Centro Violeta" located in the city of Guayaquil consists of creating a space for women to feel safe and protected from any violent or criminal activity from which they have suffered, in addition to being a place where social and learning activities can be generated for all women who plan to be independent if required. This project consists of two defined spaces that will be, one for the social activity of women that will comprise of living spaces that they can convert into their temporary home, a community space where you can replace with other women of any kind of violent past, a community dining room, a children’s activity center, as well as a play and training area; on the other hand it will have a governmental complex that helps in its improvement process, this has a medical center, an area of psychological care and police protection. This project aims to be more than a focus, a place where women can feel more free and protected at the same time, and feel more confident.
