Abstract

Preemclapsy is a very significant issue worldwide where it affects pregnant women. The main objective was to obtain total information on the incidence of preeclampsia in multiparous women between 20 and 35 years of age, and thus be able to expand its clinical characteristics that this disease can trigger. This study was aimed at recognizing risk factors, studying the clinical, medical and gyneco-obstetric characteristics that are linked to preeclampsia in multiparous women aged 20 to 35 years of age who were considered in the Monte Sinai General Hospital during the period from January 2021 to December 2022. In this research, the importance of prenatal follow-up was highlighted in order to be able to identify possible early risks such as arterial hypertension and proteinuria and thus be able to prevent it from causing any affectation to the mother and the fetus. On the other hand, it was also possible to show that obesity can trigger complications during pregnancy since it unleashes metabolic and hormonal imbalances in women. Gestational diabetes or chronic high blood pressure can cause damage after labor.
