Propuesta metodológica para el control de inventario en la logística inversa de alimentos perecibles procesados en supermercados al norte de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to design a methodological proposal for inventory control in the reverse logistics of processed perishable foods in supermarkets in northern Guayaquil. To achieve this, a foundation of the theories related to this topic was made, the theory of circular economy and internal control being the most relevant for its practical contribution to the development of protocols that improve the management of goods prone to expire due to different external factors. Therefore, qualitative research was carried out through interviews with a group of eight experts. The results showed the need to propose a practical guide that correctly handles returns, considering that very few supermarkets that were part of the sample indicated having clear processes in the management of returns of perishable products.
