La actividad notarial como garantía de la seguridad jurídica en el Ecuador.

Abstract

The notarial activity constitutes a fundamental pillar in the development and consolidation of law, with notaries playing a key role in providing authenticity and certainty in legal acts. This study analyzes the role of notarial activity as a guarantee of legal security in Ecuador, using a qualitative methodology that combines documentary, jurisprudential, and legal analysis. The results show that the notarial function in Ecuador has evolved significantly. However, important challenges remain regarding technological modernization, continuous training, and the need to strengthen supervisory mechanisms. In conclusion, it highlights the necessity of improving not only the operational efficiency of the notarial system but also the quality and reliability of the services provided, along with the implementation of policies that ensure greater legal security for users.
