Estudio de las condiciones actuales del funcionamiento del transformador de potencia de 69kV a 13.8kV de la Subestación Libertad en la provincia de Santa Elena.

Abstract

This refers to a diagnosis of the current conditions of the power transformer from 69 kV to 13.8 kV, which belongs to the Libertad Substation located in the province of Santa Elena. For this reason, the general objective is to study the current operating conditions of the power transformer from 69 kV to 13.8 kV of the Libertad Substation in the province of Santa Elena. The methodology applied was descriptive, quantitative, field, with a non-experimental design, using direct observation and documentary analysis to carry out the diagnosis of this electrical substation, based on the records provided by this public entity. The results revealed an irregular behavior of the main power parameters of the transformer, referring to the apparent, active and reactive energy delivered and received, with breakdowns that generated the interruption of the electricity supply to the local population, which may prevent covering the demand for electrical energy in the coming years. In conclusion, it is necessary to promote the conservation of this transformer, to meet the electricity supply forecast.
