Estudio de factibilidad de una institución financiera para otorgar créditos de educación continua en Guayaquil.

Abstract

This investigation seeks to determine the feasibility of creating a financial institution to grant educational credits to continuous education students in Guayaquil. It also emphasizes the need to support people in their professional and personal development by offering them financial funding to access intermediate courses for learning new skills or reinforcing them thus also contributing to their economic growth. To carry on this study, the thesis has been divided into five chapters in which a synthetic-analytical method of study is implemented so in the end the feasibility of the project is determined. First, we examine the antecedents to determine the problem, the justification and the objectives of the study, and then we establish the theoretical framework that supports the research. Through a market research we come to analyze the supply and demand for this alternative, as well as the internal and external factors which might affect the project. Likewise, a survey is made to determine the preferences of the consumers before tackling issues regarding the marketing mix. Our study establishes a hypothetical organizational structure and policies of a financial institution created for this purpose . Finally, it contemplates the sources of financing for the process and the projections of possible financial scenarios in which the financial institution could execute and determine the o study´s viability.
