Generación de viajes ajustados a las circunstancias de parques de la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

This investigation has as general objective to predict the volume of the vehicles that are generated using ground in the parks in the city of Guayaquil and to prevent the impacts that generated a future. Based on a list issued by the Very Illustrious Municipality of Guayaquil and a representative selection, the number of trips generated by the number of people and vehicles that go to the parks is quantified. Ten sports parks were chosen, where their analysis was subdivided into th e total area of the park and sports, and ten recreational parks were selected, where they were analyzed by total area only. For the investigation, the manuals of entry and exit of people and vehicles were carried out in the plots from 06:00 to 21:00, or in their defect from the time of the opening of the site until the closing of the same. Because a considerable number of the students studied have a low vehicle volume, surveys were conducted to determine the volume of people who entered the park and who usually prefer to go to the site by using public transportation. The results obtained from the generation of vehicle trips are lower compared to the US Travel Generation Manual.
