Abstract

This project aims to verify, through various analyzes (market, technical and financial), the feasibility of creating a company that produces and exports tamarillo in syrup to Spain. The work has been divided into 6 chapters where the analytic-descriptive method is used to study the factors that influence the project. The first chapter starts with an investigation of the production of the fruit in Ecuador, which is the basis for the elaboration of the product and the amount of Latin-American citizens living in Barcelona, then the conceptual bases were determined in which the project is based. This was followed by a market study to establish the supply and demand of the product where results were obtained through a survey and focus group to know preferences regarding tamarillo in syrup. The technical chapter detailed the production process, the necessary quantities of raw material to have an efficient production and the maximum capacity of the plant in addition to the machinery to be used. Finally, in the financial chapter, a financial structure is created in which thanks to a loan to the CFN makes profits and checks the feasibility of the project.
