Teatro - Biblioteca Municipal Bahía de Caráquez.

Abstract

This work is based on the theater/library project for Bahia de Caraquez, requested from the Municipal, because of the collapse during the earthquake occurred on April 16th, 2016. The proposal is conceived as one building with a continuous path from the two opposite entrances, containing every activity needed to spread the culture in the community. The process of the design contemplates the analysis of the immediate context, identifying the advantages and conditions, referred to the advantages of the distinguished visuals and to the formal configuration that the project requires allowing the benefits from the illumination and natural air that will come through; the characteristics of its function based on the diversity of users and amount of participants, distributing the activities by level based on the compatibility y function, reaching paths that will be clearer. The theater is integrated to square of common use in which different activities can be performed outside and green areas included as a connection between the interior and exterior.
