Estudio de factibilidad para la compra de una embarcación de transporte turístico ubicado en Galápagos : Crusing Galápagos S.A.

Abstract

This project was based on the financial feasibility analysis for the purchase of a tourist passenger transport vessel for the province of Galapagos for the company Cruising Galápagos S.A; With the purpose of making a difference in the tourism of the island, a non-experimental transectional research was carried out based on the observation, where a representative sample of tourists was obtained, the qualitative and quantitative method was used for the data collection through the interview to entrepreneurs and the survey of tourists. From the literature review he was able to obtain works that served as a reference for the development of this, such as the "Analysis of environmental licensing processes for tourist vessels", (2015) based on fifteen environmental impact studies that operate in Galapagos Marine Reserve. The results of the analysis of the market environment indicated that it is favorable for investment because the demand of both national and foreign tourists is growing, in addition 90% of the people surveyed are in agreement with the proposed value of the walk of an island to the other, there is little competition, legal and environmental policies are adaptable. Regarding the necessary requirement for the implementation of the project, it was determined that an investment of $ 1,217,907.36 is required according to the technical analysis and working capital. The results of the feasibility analysis showed that the project is viable since TIR and VAN are positive in the three proposed scenarios.
