Análisis de viajes vehiculares de ingreso y salida de clínicas de la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the generation of trips produced by the clinics taking as reference the work proposed by the Trip Generation Manual (TGM) of the USA. With real data from the city of Guayaquil, 21 clinics that met the specifications mentioned in the TGM were selected. Two days of clinical counting were provided, classifying them into light vehicles, taxis, motorcycles, buses and on foot (Midweek and Saturday), the number of people who entered these establishments was analyzed in order to have a complement of information that fits the data that they demand. This activity and that does not necessarily relate to the number of vehicles given that the rates of motorization of Ecuador, are not equal to those of the US. The number of employees and the service areas were selected as independent variables, consecutively the graphs with which the regression equations were obtained were obtained and subsequently the results were compared with those obtained from the TGM.
