Análisis de viajes vehiculares de ingreso y salida de museos de la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to generate local motorization rates by obtaining travel volumes of vehicle trips generated by the museums of the City of Guayaquil.For the development of this research, samples were taken from twelve private and public museums of city of Guayaquil. Manual counts were carried out every fifteen minutes in the income and outgoings, within the working hours of each museum, and at the same time surveys were carried out in order to know the means of transport used by the people who visit. The number of vehicles and pedestrians entering and departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays was quantified, revealing the peak time for each museum. In this way, the development and analysis of the charts was achieved according to the independent variables and the number of trips of the vehicles. The citation motorization rates were determined to give rise to the regression equations.
