Evaluación de la influencia del ozono sobre la concentración de nutrientes del suelo en el cultivo de banano del cantón Alfredo Baquerizo Moreno, provincia del Guayas.

Abstract

The following research was carried out between the months of December 2017 and January 2018, in the soil laboratory of the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil (Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil). In the research, ozonated water was used on the soil to determine if the ozone had any effect on the concentration of nutrients in the soil. To determine this, the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used in a factorial arrangement of 4 applications and 4 repetitions on 16 flowerpots, with the objective of: establishing the concentration of nutrients before and after the test, determining the dose in parts per million (ppm) of ozone with an effect on the concentration of soil nutrients. Additionally soil analysis were performed in the INIAP (National Institute of Agricultural Research) labs. According to the results that we were able to obtain, it was determined that there is not enough evidence to accept the hypothesis of this paper.
