| Abstract: | This paper explain in detail the operation of the LTE and WiMAX technologies that are considered 4G, the theoretical part and techniques such as its architecture, physical layer, frequency bands, bandwidth are fundamental for a better comparison. In Crucita it is the place where the simulation is carried out since currently in Crucita only has 3G coverage so services are limited Through the Atoll software a simulation is performed in Crucita Manabí with LTE and WiMAX technologies with the parameters established in the Ecuador as the band of frequency and width of the channel, to be able to observe the behavior of signal levels in all sectors of Crucita, performance of the downlink analyzing the data rate that presents the signal that travels from the antenna to the user, range of coverage offered by each technology and the number of users that support the network showing the results in Google Earth. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo se explica detalladamente el funcionamiento de las tecnologías LTE y WiMAX que son consideradas de 4G, la parte teórica y técnicas como su arquitectura, capa física, bandas frecuencias, ancho de banda son fundamentales para una comparación. En Crucita es el lugar donde se realiza la simulación, actualmente en Crucita cuenta con cobertura 3G por lo que los servicios son limitados. Mediante el software Atoll se realiza una simulación en Crucita Manabí con las tecnologías LTE y WiMAX con los parámetros establecidos en el Ecuador como la banda de frecuencia y ancho del canal , para poder observar el comportamiento de los niveles de señal en todos los sectores de Crucita, rendimiento del enlace de bajada analizando la señal que viaja de la antena al usuario, rango de cobertura que ofrece cada tecnología y la cantidad de usuarios que soporta la red mostrando los resultados en Google Earth. |
