Abstract

In this project, a catalog with iconic illustrations is drawn up to represent the most important heritage assets of the city of Guayaquil. In the first place, a documentary research is carried out to collect all the necessary information about the cultural heritage existing in the city. Once the information is obtained, a descriptive investigation is carried out to obtain data through qualitative research methodologies that consist in carrying out interviews with professionals who have knowledge of the subject and through the quantitative methodology surveys are carried out to know the cultural heritages mostly identified. The design trend for this project consists of the application of flat design style and is based on graphic design criteria to obtain the abstraction and iconization of the cultural heritage of Guayaquil, allowing the rescue of the identity of the city.
