Abstract

This essay develops a concise but accurate analysis of a person's civil liability in the transmission of rights caused by the death of another; it has called “Succession mortis causa”. In this context, the successor may be by an act of will or by testament that the deceased has previously made, or by the successional orders established by the current legislation corresponding to the law of succession, within the framework of Civil law. The heirs or subjects that are entitled to the succession by cause of death can exert legal actions that the law prescribes, before the irregularities that can be committed with respect to the assets of a patrimony or to the obligations contracted by the Causer.
