Abstract

The present document summarizes the Project Theatre - Library Bahia de Caraquez, contains from the analysis in - situ up to the preliminary design: plans, facades, sec-tions and others. The aim of this project is restore the emblematic building of historical and cultural inte-rest, which was affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016. The project seeks to establish an Urban Connection and be a place of integration and relationship of activities, which are defined by an axis of horizontal and vertical circu-lation, design flexible and versatile spaces that not only allow users develop cultural, if not also follow-up activities and to become a representative milestone of the city landmark. It will be sought also to return the identity through a reconfiguration of iconographic representations of the pre-Columbian culture Jama - Coaque.
