Estudio de accesibilidad a los servicios básicos de salud de primer nivel en el centro de salud San Valentín de la ciudad de Lago Agrio – Sucumbíos.

Abstract

The research work "Study of Accessibility to the Basic Services of Health of First Level in the San Valentín Health Center of the City Lago Agrio -Sucumbíos" focuses on identifying the accessibility needs existing in the inhabitants of the Nueva Loja parish [ place of coverage], in this way propose improvement actions that benefit the community, to guarantee access to health services and renew the perception of the establishment and its human talent. For the research process, sources of primary and secondary information were required, the first corresponds to quantitative research through surveys; and the second to know previous studies and define concepts: bibliographic review. In addition to the quantitative research, the applied type was considered, with a descriptive and correlational approach. A sample of 382 individuals was used, the instruments that were applied allowed to clearly demonstrate that the accessibility to the first level health services in the population is under the projection and capacity of the establishment, therefore alternatives for improvement are proposed by virtue of three variables identified as having the highest incidence: waiting times in curative health, home care and promotion of preventive services with little access.
