Factores asociados al cáncer cérvico uterino en mujeres atendidas en la consulta externa del hospital de Solca de la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract

Cervical cancer of neoplasms with higher incidence and mortality in the detection of advanced stages, increasingly affects the female population. The present investigative work deals with the factors associated with cervical cancer in women aged 25 to 45 years, attended in the External Consultation of the Hospital Solca of the city of Guayaquil. Objective: To identify the factors associated with uterine cervical cancer in women treated at the Outpatient Clinic of the SOLCA Hospital in the city of Guayaquil. Design: quantitative study of a prospective, transversal type. Technique: Indirect observation Instrument: observation matrix. Population: 50 women attended in the outpatient clinic since June 2018. Results: among the main sociodemographic characteristics, the majority of the couples are of free union, belonging to the mestizo ethnic group, and it is evident that the excessive use of oral contraceptives is a detonating for this pathology.
