Plan de mejora de los servicios turísticos en la comuna Olón, provincia de Santa Elena.

Abstract

Olón is a commune belonging to Manglaralto, of the province of Santa Elena. It is considered an attractive place to have a large entry of tourists in high seasons, due to the offer of Sun and Beach tourism, the tranquility of the sector and the closeness it has with one of the best-known Ecuadorian tourism products, locally and international, the Montañita Commune. The objective of this project is to design a plan to improve tourist services in the Olón Commune, in order to optimize the tourist experience of the sector, so that Olón can be consolidated, not as an alternative, but as a destination for sun and beach tourism that offers quality tourism services. After the analysis of the current situation of the tourism system of Olon, the tourism potentiality is verified, thanks to its attractions and to the disposition of its habitants to give way to the development of the tourism of the sector; On the other hand, shortcomings were also identified that do not allow tourists to achieve total satisfaction when making use of the services of Olón. As a main consequence of the previously mentioned general objective, it gives way to the mutual benefit between inhabitants and visitors of the area; the inhabitants, on the other hand, would be the direct beneficiaries, since the income would be increased, providing economic security to all those who are part of the commercialization of the tourist activity. Tourists, considered indirect beneficiaries, will have the opportunity to make use of quality services that constantly seek perfection and improvement of the service provided.
