Análisis del sistema logístico para la reforma del proceso de aprovisionamiento de productos perecibles en Galápagos.

Abstract

Through multiple reports and statistics, the importance of maritime transport in the Galápagos Archipelago has been demonstrated, not only because it is the most used means of transport for the mobilization of tourists, but also as the main means by which the islands are supplied of essential goods, construction materials, among others. This study analyzed each of the factors that influence the food supply system in Galapagos, taking into consideration the public institutions involved, and describing the main cabotage problems that have occurred over the years, as they are. the absence of port infrastructure and updated regulations. In order to solve the logistical problems of the archipelago, proposals are made in the legal area, such as port infrastructure that allow the State to provide an efficient maritime transport system to the Galapagos Islands, and the delivery of safe food to the settlers, in compliance with the Constitution, the Good Living Plan, and the current mobility plan.
