Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de una Cooperativa de Transporte Escolar e Institucional en el cantón Durán.

Abstract

The present graduation work is structured as a business model, its purpose is to demonstrate the feasibility for the creation of a school and institutional transport cooperative in Duran county. The approach of this study is based on the scarcity of this legally operated service, as well as the public transport issues and the dangers that passengers have to deal with illegal services, for that reason it seeks to provide a quality service, comfort and security through the implementation of technological devices. For the elaboration of this study, the market study that covers supply and demand is considered fundamental, through the PESTA tools and the five Porter forces that allow to know in depth the external environment that the cooperative will operate, as well as the bargaining power of consumers, competitors and suppliers. The realization of the technical study allows a better understanding of the physical structure of the cooperative and the investment required to produce the desired service; therefore, for the acquisition of customers, the value proposal is made through the marketing mix, and for the commitment of the collaborators through the corporate strategy. Through projections of profit and loss statements, as well as cash flows with a planning horizon of five years, it has been shown that the project is viable in both economic and financial profitability.
