Percepciones sobre la intervención del trabajador social en el campo educativo : estudio de cuatro experiencias de profesionales del Trabajo Social en las instituciones públicas de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The present investigative work about the perceptions about the intervention of the Social Worker in the educational field: Study of four experiences of Social Work professionals in public educational institutions of the city of Guayaquil, had as objective to know the perceptions about the intervention of the Worker Social in the educational field, because, in this context, social transformations observed through problems experienced by the students have been identified, such as: the formation of a new family or its rupture, consumption of psychotropic substances, bullying, intrafamilial problems, low academic performance, special educational needs and other situations; For this reason, the methodology that has been applied was sixty surveys to the student, four and three interviews to Social Workers and Psychologists, which will allow to contrast the interdisciplinary work and the perception that the students have about the actions of the Social Worker, obtaining as a result the recognition of the perceptions about the intervention of the Social Worker in the educational field from the actors involved, where certain aspects related to Social Work, roles, functions and intervention were palpable, categories of fundamental analysis.
