Análisis del efecto del emprendimiento juvenil en el empleo de los jóvenes estudiantes universitarios de Guayaquil.

Abstract

The present study constitutes a research about the youth entrepreneurship and its effect in the youth employment of college students of Guayaquil, meaning this; that the young population of the nation is a priority within the Development National Plan of Ecuador 2017-2021. Under this frame it has been evidenced that young entrepreneurships face difficulties in the starting stage as well as financial restrictions, conjectural problems inadequate public policies, lack of experience among other problems. In consequence, the author formulates the following question: what is the effect in the of youth entrepreneurships in the employment index of college students of Guayaquil? The theoretical frame of this study evaluates the coincidence of several students regarding that the entrepreneur puts together the financing with labor and tht this affects the employment levels. Regarding to the methodological aspect, the present research is a deductive, quantitative scope, cross-sectional and descriptive type study. The information gathering was through a survey to 383 students in Guayaquil city. The results pointed out that there is a high percentage level of college students that work as employees of youth entrepreneurships or they are owners of some of these. Nevertheless, the results also demonstrate the working inconveniences that young entrepreneurship are submitted to. Therefore, it will be useful a future study, with the purpose to measure the impact of the young entrepreneurships of the college students and the economic growth in Guayaquil city, leading to define correct public policies that regulate the growth of this important economic sector.
