Abstract

The present titling work consists in the design, simulation and implementation of a radio telecommunications system, that has integrated the technology of voice over IP (VoIP), in order to provide to the Fire Department of the province of Manabí, a system of communication with very good coverage and technology, able to develop great benefits in the interaction of the different detachments of this institution, all through an IP telephone exchange and radio frequency stations, integrated in a single network through the SIP protocol. It is important to highlight the fact that the maintenance of a free software telephone exchange allows, in turn, to carry out functionalities that with other types of platforms would be private and would not allow a scalable system, since, during a test implementation maybe must add certain functionalities or equipment. ubsequently, the system to be developed (RoIP) will have as its main characteristic the ability to manage actions directly with the ECU911 system, which, being a first response system, will allow a better management of emerging risk situations, if that were the case.
