Abstract

This thesis proposes to create an alternative to give benefit to primary products, which has been built through quantitative and qualitative indicators, which analyze the current situation in the productive framework and benefit in the Tarugo site of the Province of Manabí, Ecuador. The thesis was developed in four important chapters; the first consists of definitions related to the subject of study, value chain, benefit, productivity and the axes of valuation. The second is responsible for the analysis of the socio-economic and productive realities of the Tarugo sector. The third is the result of two methods of qualitative and quantitative studies where the gathering of information based on production form, type of harvest, form of marketing was carried out. The fourth is the possible alternatives of solutions for the improvement and the productive development of the sector, value added methods such as the elaboration of dairy, using different methods of conservation of fruits and vegetables.
