Plan de desarrollo turístico del cantón Cotacachi, provincia de Imbabura.

Abstract

The present project is based on the proposal of a Tourism Development Plan to Cotacachi, located in the Imbabura Province. The research is constituted by four correctly defined chapters; the first chapter serves as a fundamental pillar to support and sustain the information raised in this research, the second chapter covers the diagnosis of the current situation of the canton's tourism system, the third chapter contains the destination analysis about what tourists think about it, fourth and the last chapter that has the proposal about the improvements to do in the touristic attractions and the trainings directed to the community that plays a fundamental role in the present development plan; all this in order to enhance the destination and create a rewarding experience for tourists.
