Diseño de una red WLAN para cobertura en Centro Turístico y Vacacional utilizando el Simulador NS3.

Abstract

The main theme of this thesis is to present a WLAN network design for tourism and vacation center coverage using the NS3 simulator, with the main objective of designing a W-LAN network that improves the wireless internet service for users. Of the complex and thus grant welfare and consumer compliance, in such a way that it improves the tourist, economic and cultural development of its users. If the titling work is required and implemented by a tourist, hotel and resort center, the benefit of this study will help them in the optimization of their topologies, broadband and the distribution of the transmitting equipment, thus, users would benefit from an efficient connection and will give a good opinion of the establishment. The protocol used in this design is 802.11g and a specific topology. According to the BeamFlex technology, it allows the network to obtain a greater scope and its functionality in the selected topology. In this thesis several Methods were used: The Descriptive Method which allows to determine the flaws that the WLAN networks have, with which the bad propagation of this network can be established. The Analytical method, in this section will gather all the information of the tourist, hotel and resort center network. The Empirical Method put the knowledge acquired during our academic training, and by using the simulator, we will project the result and see our optimized design. And compare through the results of the simulation, and according to the scenarios performed. That the mesh topology is the one indicated according to the values of the Throughput, Mean Delay, Jitter and the Packets Delivery Ratio.
