Percepciones de la calidad de vida de las personas con discapacidad que trabajan en una empresa industrial del cantón Durán.

Abstract

The present research is entitled "Perceptions of the work-life quality of people with disabilities who work in an Industrial Company in the city of Durán." The principal objective is to explore perceptions about work-life quality of this group. In order to achieve this objective, there are many definitions by different authors about quality of work life, perceptions and disability. The present work is qualitative research conducted via the sample of 10 disabled employees. For the collection of information, in-depth surveys and interviews were used as instruments of data collection. At the diagnostic level, it was possible to identify the perceptions that they have about the quality of working life, the staff with disabilities that work within the industrial company of Durán city, as well as the relationships they have with their partners s and the contribution that the company give them for their personal development. At the same time, it was evident that the company fulfills the requirement as defined by constitutional norms, but the perception of the of this group is that they are not satisfied with their work-life quality.
